  • Hi, long time follower first time post. I took some drone pictures of this project last Sunday (3/7). Finally able to figure out how to post pictures. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  • Add five or six more stories onto this early rendering of phase two of Harbor Bay Real Estate Advisors’ Market Square development, sources are saying.    Next Ohio City high-rise in the work

INTRO is beautiful

When is the last time I-71 turned a profit?

I took this photo last week......

Isn’t there a plan for a Phase 2 of Intro? Is that still on track?

Awesome. Do you know where I can find the details, Ken?

I posted it in my blog. If leasing at Intro warrants it, there will be a second phase. Watch the leasing this fall and look for official news toward the end of this year or early next year.

How quickly Intro leases commercial space should be a real measure on how we are coming out of the pandemic. If a dynamite place like that can't fill up quickly then we are in trouble. I'm betting on pretty fast leasing but what do l know?

Tykaps posted an image of the leasable commercial space and it looks like half of it is already spoken for.

Those drone shots really underscore just how strategic INTRO’s location is and how transformative It is to the West Side Market corridor and Ohio City in general. There’s going to be a lot of awesome views of a downtown skyline bulked up by the addition of a new SW Tower.  Loving it!

^Also shows what two-bit developers MRN are, with their mini empire of surface lots across the street.

And if you would like to book your 2022 event on the roof of INTRO, that is now a thing you can do:

Great shots - really demonstrates how much land is still left in the area and the potential - the massive WSM lots and the lots to the east of Intro.

A really great addition to OC especially with hopefully phase two building, a renovated mix use Voss Industry buildings, and perhaps with a MRN new building on their empty lot next to their United Building!

well that sure beats a well used, but cheap looking strip plaza for presence!

it is quite amazingly sharp looking, isn't it? very impressive !!

For once I get to give you a 'Thanks' reaction, great pics!

Project and Construction threads are for news and discussion of actual projects.  They are not for arguments about what businesses you think should move in (especially if the business in question has shown no interest in signing on), or if you think we should have chains in the city.

Based on the Heatles actual success, I’m taking this to mean exactly 2 restaurants

Eastern side is starting to go vertical. From today:

FWIW - I have an acquaintance that has been telling people he is dead set on opening a steak house in there.

Makes sense. There really isn’t one in the area. Unless you count downtown as in the area.

Also Crop Bistro closed (*cries*). I know Crop wasn't a steakhouse, but its disappearance leaves a bit of a fine dining gap.

Yup - and from the very limited amount I've spoken with him - it would have a major emphasis on sustainability and local sourcing. Essentially Town Hall minus the misinformation, graphic tees, xenophobia, and misogyny

Count me in lol that's great news, hopefully it comes to fruition. I know it's been said throughout but what a cool project - idk if it's going to be raining on my bike ride home today/able to get a pic but it's starting to peek over the L-C Bridge, really cool experience with it coming into focus vs what was there previously. I'll say it again, really, really cool stuff lol

Here's a restaurant floor plan for anyone interested:

A bit disappointed since this makes it look like one of the pedestrian underpasses is gone but more excited for everything else about this.

The second floor at the corner will also be part of the restaurant.

And Duck Island residents are concerned about traffic due to Stoneleigh, there’s what, 4 cars visible in those pictures?

I hate how NIMBY's are literally the development and then don't want more development. L-C Bridge is one lane down (headed W) at the base for construction and it barely affects traffic. If anything people can't go 57MPH into Ohio City at the moment.

People are stupid.

OK so I get the "fireWOOD" theme but from a pleasing design perspective...Hmm.

The guardians need powerwashed lol

Loathe to say it, but the restaurant renderings really remind me of TownHall.

Those stacks of firewood are going to be great places for critters to live.  Right above your dining table.

Or fall on someone's head while they're eating. lol.

I think an unintended consequence is that it will be a new place for WSM patrons to take their food / snacks, etc after a trip to the market. Which would be REALLY cool and a great way to incorporate the project right into the street.

Have we commented yet on how reflective the glass is:

PXL_20210617_112105848~2.jpg

Seeing all the glass in some of these photos makes me think what a timeless design this is. To the untrained eye it could be an old industrial building that's being refurbished and expanded. Truly a beautiful building.

Damn this development is awesome! This may replace the Schofield rehab as my favorite project in Cleveland of all time
