Looks like the other foundations are for columns and the elevators (you can tell these based on the rebar they are placing). Edited June 26, 20204 yr by E_Tre

July 2, 20204 yr I'm guessing they will announce the restaurant, bar, and coffee tenants as those spots on the brochure are not marked available.

Good catch. That restaurant space is going to be amazing. Does anyone know the typical size of a Starbucks Reserve? This looks like the type of location they would locate in. Could be a regular Starbucks too though. I have a feeling with the rents being charged here, we will be seeing mostly, if not all, chains.
July 3, 20204 yr Wasn’t a Starbucks Reserve supposed to go into Nucleus? Who knows if that’s still a thing given the uncertainty around that project... ShakeShack found another spot so I wonder if any of the other tenants will do the same.

I’m not sure the typical SF of a Starbucks reserve but the one I visited in Manhattan was pretty massive and three floors.

July 3, 20204 yr A Starbucks Reserve would be amazing in CLE - I’ve been to the one in Chicago and it’s a huge draw. Plus, the bar cocktails are amazing. Edited July 3, 20204 yr by urbanetics_

Apologies for being off topic but I'm impressed with the lineup that Stark was able to get to sign on. Every tenant was a big name that either weren't in the market (Shake Shack) or a version of their stores (Starbucks Reserve) weren't many places at all, very exclusive.
July 4, 20204 yr Great picture from Francis Angelone Photography posted on Facebook. I drove past the other day - that hole is the ground is HUGE. Very excited for this project. When is the last time I-71 turned a profit?

July 7, 20204 yr Great video! Congrats, Cleveland! Looks like this is going to rise up in record time and wont it temporarily be the tallest timber tower in the US? I hope Stark sees this video - maybe there’s still time for Nucleus to speed things up with a new design!

There is a proposal in Milwaukee that would be taller, but I don’t think that one is moving forward yet. For reference, there is one quite a bit taller in Vancouver, Canada. Can the public use these fields? The school, as part of the permitting process, said that the local residents would be encouraged to use the field and the facility. I don't know how they define 'local'. Remember: It's the Year of the Snake

I'll be honest - I'm there 5 days a week and not a single day has passed where I haven't seen a group of people walk up and do a group workout, or kids walk over and play pickup football. Yesterday, there was a group of people from Senegal playing pickup soccer

July 9, 20204 yr Maybe it's a dumb question but where do the crane operators usually come from? Local, or part of a journeyman crew?
July 9, 20204 yr If you’re all not already tired of seeing so many crane pictures...here are my own contributions from this evening.?

Someone with more commercial experience may correct me, but in my industry (heavy highway) the operators typically come with the crane. Edit: I see it’s from ALL Crane so it would be their operator. ALL is a nationwide outfit but is HQ’d here. The crane itself could have come from wherever they had one available though Edited July 9, 20204 yr by Enginerd
July 9, 20204 yr It's really fascinating to drive south on W25th and see how small the West Side Market's clocktower looks relative to the crane. Funny to see something you've been familiar with your whole life next to something else you're familiar with and how their scales look relative to one another.
