Yeah that station kinda sucks.  I was watching Veronica Mars once and then all of a sudden 19News cut in with a breaking news story (and that story wasn't even worth mentioning on any other station during their regular newscasts)!

 

And then you have the severe weather cut-ins (I'm a meteorology major and I LOVE the weather) but enough is enough.......I think people are smart enough to get indoors during a severe thunderstorm........we don't need 3 forecasters and a whole news team to tell us that  :-D

I remember when WKRC cut right into the elimination in Big Brother to report a warehouse fire in Price Hill instead of just running it one the bottom of the screen. I was so angered, I sent a nasty (but nice) email to the station and they sent me a Grilling with Tim Hindrick Bobblehead. :roll:

I put that together years ago for the skyscraperpage.com forum (where as the first openly gay forumer, I became a Queen of the forum).

 

Anyways, Maleficent (aka the Mistress of All Evil) is by far my favorite Disney character and she epitomizes everything I admire about an "evil Queen". Whenever someone would say or do something that rubbed me the wrong way, out came Maleficent. I figured why not add some Cleveland buildings to personalize the image? Some people have also suggested that she and I bear a striking resemblance (granted my skin isn't green but you get the idea).

Ya, but basketball is like baseball.  Sometimes KC may upset the Yankees.  There are just so many games and off nights for the good teams.  At least we won.

Yeah but the "off" nights are becoming a little to common for them. I hate to say it but I don't think they get out of the first round.

I think they can get out of the first round, however that means they go to Detroit for round 2 (most likely).  Much more difficult.

I appreciate music and I appreciate beauty.  Unfortunetly, I don't see a correlation between the two concerning the subject in this (sub)thread.

Dude, I love America's Next Top Model!  It is my guilty pleasure.  And I was so p*ssed when it wasn't on last week.  Will they repeat it anytime soon?

 

And all I have to say about last season is  - Nicole is the winner????  I don't get it.

Yes, they'll have a repeat tonight at 8pm.

 

Nicole had a few things going for her - she took some great pics, both high-fashion and commercial. She also tore up the runway during the final episode.

 

I still liked Nik - I preferred her cool demeanor to Nicole's goofy antics.

I liked Nik better too.  I also thought Lisa took great pictures, even though she was nuts. 

Lisa did well for awhile but then let her wild side take over in the photos. The last one with the Wild Boys was just awful.

 

Do you have any favorites this season? I'm thinking Danielle has both the walk and good pics and so does Jade (though I hate to admit it), but there are others who could pull it together eventually.
