January 28Jan 28 I guess it could just be branded The Gwynne (or something similar) and not be part of a national brand. That seems to have worked well for the Bottleworks Hotel in Indy.
February 11Feb 11 New steel can be seen going up on the roof, not exactly sure what the structure is for I’m assuming mechanical Edited February 11Feb 11 by 646empire
February 11Feb 11 Looks so good from this angle. I've been curious as to why they blocked over those windows, tho I'm not sure if they were windows before. I'm hoping they get a coat of paint or some attention to look better. Also just want to add that work recently began on the portal like vaults on the ground floor. I'm very excited to see the results there.

The views from up there would be nice!

March 6Mar 6 East Side View from today, window installation, I also noticed that crews have cut large squares into the smaller attached building. I wonder what they are gonna use it for? Maybe one of the restaurants/food and beverage. Also on the back side they are putting the large frame windows.
March 6Mar 6 It looks like some of the "new" windows on the smaller building may have been previously existing ones that were bricked up!

Across the alley, the parking lot is owned by an unaffiliated entity, St. Xavier Church. You may well be correct that the parking lot will remain parking for a long time, but I don't think the re-opening of these windows in any way reduces the viability of that surface parking lot to be redeveloped into a higher and better use.

May 17May 17 Gosh I LOVE this building! So important to save these structures for the next few decades since so many of their contemporaries have long since been hauled to the dump.
