Isn’t 55 Public Square Next for K&D?

Ahh forgot about that. Thats a big one to get redone and I believe the steps are being made to progress on that one

Dr Rosenblitt is the best!!!  And as mrclifton88 can attest, if you make a move, the Halle Building is fantastic!

Yep, he's great.

K&D's primary fault to me is neglecting less-new properties (668/Reserve), but Leader will not have that issue.

^ Yeah. The Hanna is starting to get shabby too.

Rockefeller please

Not K&D. And the answer isn't for this thread on this day.

? They walked away from 55PS. I think it was not a cost effective project. Based on what KJP has been hinting at elsewhere I’d say Rockefeller is a good guess.  I am going to find out... the one and only place I have sources at hahaha.

EDIT ^ the mystery continues !

So far I’m absolutely LOVING my new downtown home! My apartment itself is beautiful and has lots of natural light, the building is stunning, and I’m already getting used to the lifestyle and convenience of downtown living.

just wait........It gets sooooo much better then what you're experiencing now.  My son moved in with me in December, and since Covid-19 and the protests/riots, downtown has been a ghost town.  I've told him that once people start returning and sports come back, it takes it up to another level!!!

Just wanted to share one more quick update and resource for anyone interested in or actively looking to move downtown. Freshwater Cleveland came across my apartment search via a social media post, and they reached out to document my process.

I describe my extensive downtown search and give some other thoughts on why I wanted to move downtown and what’s so great about it.

Let’s get more downtown residents!! Already I love it here so much.

Anyone else downtown hear that explosion about 10pm? Sounded to us like it came from Playhouse Square area.

Edit: Been looking out the window in that direction and don’t see or hear anything going on. I just read today that fireworks call-outs are through the roof this year all over the country. Maybe that was it.

I live at playhouse square and it was loud!  But when I looked out my window, all I could see were constant fireworks....I'm hoping thats what it was

Does anyone knows if here are any news on new residental construction downtown. It's already 2024. and if the projection for 30,000 people living in downtown may not be possible until Cleveland has some new residental building like the one in playhouse square.

active projects:

-united church of christ building on prospect is being converted to apts

-new build on bolivar

-city club apts

-playhouse square building

-erieview conversion

-townhouses on superioe/e13

am I missing any?

landmark building and huntington buildings are big ones we're still hoping for

thank you for the information.

Looks like this needs to be updated.  Several  new things have occurred not on the map.

He should crowdsource the maintenance of that map its a lot of good information but must be hard for one person to keep up.

And, as always, there are projects in the works that aren't yet public. Hopefully we'll hear about them soon.
