June 11, 20214 yr I always wondered where CBIZ is located. For a company that size (4800+) that is supposedly HQ in Cleveland, where's their signage on a large building in our central business (C Biz, get it?) district? I know KJP mentioned them at one point.

They are a large firm, but spread over many offices around the country.

At least that’s the impression I was under. If I’m not mistaken the entire ‘site,’ so to speak includes 1020, 1060, and 1124 Bolivar road, respectively; plenty of parking, with 1124 and 1060 offering what I think is secure, indoor and climate controlled parking. Now that I think of it, portions of 1124 and 1060 even have restrooms within them!

June 15, 20213 yr Author Redirected from MidTown 15 minutes ago, cadmen said: Interesting anecdotal story Ken but l'm not sure what you mean by blown away by the amount of development here. We CAN observe all the construction underway on the near west side and a few things on the east side. Readers of this site are aware of the huge amount of pending development but we're still waiting on the bulk of it. I also spent a day showing a Phoenix couple around the city. They are looking to buy a summer home to escape the Arizona heat. I found myself saying "This is coming here and that is planned there." etc. But there wasn't all that much actually under construction at the moment. And compared to Phoenix they thought things were pretty quiet development wise. Oddly enough while l was excited to show the male all the new residential construction he hated the new designs while raving about the old. Perhaps you're not showing them everything, or almost everything. My tours last several hours and, last Sunday, covered several dozen recent and underway developments from Lakewood to Buckeye and Glenville. It is also likely a matter of perspective. I'm sure a Flint resident would be more impressed with Cleveland's development than someone from construction-crazy Phoenix. June 15, 20213 yr Perspective indeed. I actually did find myself saying you can't compare Cleveland development with Phoenix (or LA as they only left LA last year for Phoenix and already hate the summer temps.) We did cover the usual Cle hotspots but not Lakewood, Glenville or Buckeye. They were quite surprised by the CH neighborhood just above Cedar Fairmount. Loved the trees and old mansions. It was a successful tour as they did indicate they will be buying something. They had wanted to live downtown but were put off by the lack of for sale properties.
