February 18, 20169 yr *Scene* A dusty labor crew toils away at the base of the Carl B. Stokes Courthouse in year 3051 AD. The camera zooms out to show a desert-like hellscape where urban Cleveland once stood. A depleted yet putrid body of multicolored liquid exists where Lake Erie used to be. This is the outcome of the Trump dynasty's world-spanning reign which began with the 2016 AD presidential election. Although all civil society, art, culture, and business has been destroyed under the various Trump edicts and wars, this labor crew continues to perform menial work on the Stokes Courthouse and receive automated payment through a glitch in the vast Federal bureaucracy that appropriated funds in 2016. They are the last existing people, and quite possibly the only hope for humanity. But at this point, what really constitutes humanity anymore? *End Scene*

February 18, 20169 yr Author Does expanding the plaza mean they're going to cap over the rapid tracks there? I'm not sure where else it could be expanded. That was my assumption as well. I also wonder if that makes it more likely that another building could be built to the west of the courthouse tower? BTW, the courthouse tower contains more than court-related activities. Senator Brown's office was moved from the federal building to the courthouse tower, for example. March 24, 20169 yr Instead of covering up the empty storefronts with signs, they should fill them. This is a great opportunity to bring in some "Pop-up" stores. It would be a good market test for some national retailers. And it would add some more life to the street.
March 24, 20169 yr I agree with that and am sure most of us would as well, but plans would have had to be made a lot more in advance to do anything like that. Some of those storefronts have been abandoned for a long time, don't even have up to code plumbing or electric. Three months is really not enough time to fill every empty space safely and properly.

Why not concentrate Pop-Ups as close to the main heart of the RNC as possible, and depending on how many there are available for the RNC, either concentrate them in the Old Arcade, or Tower City. The Galleria is probably to far away. If there were to be enough Pop-Ups for both TC and the OA, use both, if not use only one of the two.
