The cool thing is these displays follow the calendar of the Catholic church, so they stay up until the Feast of the Epiphany (around a week into January). The first two pictures are from Puente de Boyaca, the site of a battle won by Simon Bolivar against the Spanish. April 15, 20205 yr So so jealous. I'm especially jealous how clean, vibrant, and colorful these small cities are in Colombia...versus Estados Unidos. "You don't just walk into a bar and mix it up by calling a girl fat" - buildingcincinnati speaking about new forumers
April 16, 20205 yr Author Except for the dog poop in some of these small cities, I agree. These small cities are so much more active, and the Colombian people are so much happier...I do miss it!
April 19, 20205 yr wow nice to see this -- i am especially a night shot fan, so especially good work there. one thing i noticed in the cityscape views is that it is either dense or greenery vs usa style sprawl. so glad you got this trip in before the corona!
April 20, 20205 yr Author Quote one thing i noticed in the cityscape views is that it is either dense or greenery vs usa style sprawl. Thanks, that is very true, it is either density in the form of small cities, big cities, or villages, or countryside with no sprawl in between. In fact, my ex lives in what is considered to be a safe, family oriented neighborhood in the outskirts of the city. But look at how dense this neighborhood is: Ciudadela Colsubsidio - Bogotá by Meseta Films, on Flickr Edited April 20, 20205 yr by MCC
