Posted May 4, 20205 yr I know many of you have posted some great photo threads on the towpath so allow me to share mine... While I had been down to the Scranton Flats section when it first opened, it was on a miserable damp day and for some reason I had not been back. I had no idea how well connected the trail is to Tremont right by Sokolowskis and had not seen all of the new construction until today. What an amazing asset this is- the Metroparks have done an incredible job. The Scranton Peninsula is just SCREAMING to be redeveloped... I hope to see that happen soon. This is such a unique gem, and very uniquely Cleveland. I dont think you can find the mix of city/nature/industry that exists here in many other places.

May 5, 20205 yr Yep, it's so nice to have such an amenity in walking distance - thanks for the pics. Fyi, although it may not look it (and obviously watch your step!) but University is somewhat navigable by foot going east and some great views of downtown from there. clevelandskyscrapers.com Cleveland Skyscrapers on Instagram
May 5, 20205 yr Author Thanks @MayDay for inspiring me to go check it out! ? University is such a cool street, cant wait to see it with the trail... I just wish they would bury the utilities. Edited May 5, 20205 yr by mrclifton88
May 5, 20205 yr This is going to be such an incredible asset once it is fully completed all the way to the National Park. Where we lack in our lakefront development, we make up for in having a very impressive regional trail network.
