These are from two different days.  One day was from Mt. Adams, and the other was a walk around after 'The Banks' presentation at the Freedom Center downtown (not very informative unfortunately).

1. First is the walk around after the meeting

Very cool...I really, really dig your second shot - all the angles and curves and textures and depth...very nicely done.  And your Roebling shots are definitely keepers - nicely framed, and you even got the keystone!

The suburbs don't still look good on gloomy days, wonder why?

The flat lighting works well on a lot of these scenes, bringing out the details in what would normally be shadow areas. I like the way you composed a lot of these -- nice, big, frame-filling images.

Great stuff!  Bad weather can't make Cincinnati ugly.  An interesting thing I see is that the glass on Scripps still shines quite nicely even under cloudy skies.

Wonderful shots!

if we had to wait on a sunny day just to take pictures down here there would be darn few.  :wink2:  we better take all of the "before" shots on the Roebling bridge while we can!  Thanks for the nice 'walkabout' UncleRando, I enjoyed it!

yeah that second shot is really nice.

on an unrelated note.  i sure wish neyer would get the money lined up and get going on the broadway tower at st. xavier park.  its height and glassy look would really add some need interest to that part of downtown.

^Yup...that sure would be nice.

the reflection of the clouds in scripps looks surreal

Nice pics; Mt. Adams has the absolute best view of downtown and the river. I was jogging in Mt. Adams a few days ago and saw some people taking pics..I always wonder if it's someone on Urbanohio.
