The hotel, owned and operated by Dayton-based Midmark Corp., will also operate a new restaurant and event space in the small village about a 45-minute drive from Dayton. Hotel Versailles features 30 boutique guest rooms including six suites, as well as the onsite restaurant Silas Creative Kitchen + Cocktails, which is staffed by Executive Chef Aaron Allen. The restaurant can seat up to 200 guests. September 20, 2024Sep 20 Author Darke County village receives slice of $18.2 million to revitalize neighborhood Nearly three dozen communities across Ohio will leverage funding to complete critical infrastructure and neighborhood improvement projects. Once regional county seeks to use its funding to enhance quality of life for thousands. ... Darke County will receive a $750,000 Neighborhood Revitalization grant to assist the Village of Arcanum with five neighborhood revitalization activities, benefiting more than 2,100 people. The county will reconstruct South High Street and replace the storm sewer lines, waterlines and sidewalks along the road. Two parking lots will also be improved.
