Jake Paul, Tyron Woodley Agree To CRAZY Stipulation For Upcoming Match

Social media star turned professional boxer Jake “The Problem” Paul is set to fight ex-UFC champion Tyron “The Chosen One” Woodley.

The two had a press conference in Los Angeles, CA on Tuesday to promo their upcoming match on SHOWTIME PPV on Sunday, August 29 at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse in Cleveland, OH. The two athletes were talking that talk, especially since the fight will be on his home turf. He said, “On August 29, in my hometown, you will see a boxing clinic. He’s not going more than three rounds.” Paul and his brother have been making noise lately as they’ve put on gloves against some noteworthy opponents (eh hem Floyd Mayweather).

The most surprising thing to come out of the battle was not them puffing their chest out. It was that both fighters agreed that the loser will tattoo the other person’s name on them. When asked about what he thought about the press conference, Paul was confident that he would emerge as then winner.

Jake Paul is going to get lit up. He gloats about beating Ben Askren, who was an MMA champion, Wrestling Olympian known as one of the best grapplers but probably the worst striker in UFC. He also just had hip surgery a few months before their fight and was out of shape from being sedentary.

This is the first time Jake is fighting an actual elite UFC champion striker, in a boxing match and Tyron Woodley packs explosive punches. We're not talking about a fellow Youtuber or no-name martial artist. I can't wait to see that d-bag Jake get knocked out.

I thought you guys would have more to say since there's a couple big names in combat sports (UFC and Boxing) from Cleveland.

What do you guys think of Stipe Miocic? He's from/lives in Cleveland and works as paramedic and firefighter. This guy was literally at the firehouse scrubbing toilets the day after winning his last championship fight, despite being a millionaire. What a humble guy. He's arguably the best heavyweight champion UFC fighter of all time, was the longest reigning heavyweight champion with a 20-4 record which is really really impressive in MMA where anything can happen in a fight. I really want to see a trilogy between Stipe and Francis Ngnannou (record 16-3). Francis Ngannou lost their first fight but knocked Stipe out pretty hard in the second fight. A trilogy fight between them would be interesting but I think Stipe said he would only fight him if he brought his weight up to like 250 (he was only 234 and Ngannou weighed in at 263! That's a hell of a difference.

One thing I hate about the UFC weight divisions is how broad the weight class is for heavyweights... I mean, it really doesn't make sense. A fighter weighing in at 205 can fight someone who is 265. All of their other weight divisions have a 10 or 15 pound range.
