Posted August 1, 20213 yr Stopped by the Terminal Tower observation deck yesterday. Know before you go - admission is via online tickets only and you need to be at the security desk when your timeslot starts. Figured I'd get some photos of our 'beloved' parking crater before 616' of Sherwin Williams HQ wipes it out 👍 Always good to look up every now and then: Don't forget to make sure your ballot is postmarked on time. Won't be long before the Avon Lake power plant stacks come down. Crazy to see the amount of development of northern Ohio City/Hingetown: Really shows the scale of INTRO: Electric Gardens dwarfing the townhomes nearby: You can just barely see the Waterford Bluffs apartments going vertical on the left of this pic: Remember, don't forget to keep looking up 🙂 clevelandskyscrapers.com Cleveland Skyscrapers on Instagram
August 1, 20213 yr great shots and good idea to memorialize the warehouse parking ocean now. there was also a shot that reminded me of the next and last major parking ocean that needs a full court press to get redeveloped, west flats. as these views show, after that the major open areas right around downtown are basically restored back to urbanity.

August 6, 20213 yr Great photos! It really is incredible how much undeveloped land there is around the city and even surrounding downtown, and how much potential there is - Warehouse District, Flats East, Flats West, Ohio City, Tremont, east side of downtown, Asiatown. It's an exciting time to be in Cleveland.
August 6, 20213 yr Great photos. Such a diversity of buildings and so many sites with such potential. Good riddance to the parking crater off Public Square(as mrnyc mentioned) and the new SWH building will look so good(to me at least-I really like the size and design)and will really balance out the skyline. A bit jealous of the plethora of great looking older large historic buildings but hey, it is what it is. When I look at the river area all I see are development opportunities and future park space. August 9, 20213 yr Technically there are also the residences in the Terminal Tower at the very end of Euclid anchoring the corridor?

Except they're not in the tower itself. That's still offices. The apartments are in the 10- to 12-story pedestal on which the tower sets. August 12, 20213 yr @MayDay Would you and your camera be interested in taking one of these downtown tours and sharing with us your artwork? https://www.paratusair.com/cleveland-helicopter-tours "In the souls of the people the grapes of wrath are filling and growing heavy, growing heavy for the vintage." -- John Steinbeck

August 12, 20213 yr Awesome shots @MayDay, did you do any type of post processing? Also love the closeup on the Soldiers and Sailors Monument, I guess I never looked close enough to catch the flower patterns.

When it comes to post processing, my style is more “here’s how/what I saw” than things like super saturated colors, filter, etc. Not that there’s anything wrong with the latter, it’s all good. 👍 I shoot with a Canon RP, and post processing in Photoshop. Usually stick with cropping, adjusting levels, and the occasional editing out small things that detract from the image. In this case, a bug on the outside of a window, a reflection of a ceiling light, etc. clevelandskyscrapers.com Cleveland Skyscrapers on Instagram
