Posted April 9, 200619 yr Cuyahoga might not qualify for grants Land requirements would be hard to meet Sunday, April 09, 2006 Thomas Ott Plain Dealer Reporter A new state grant program is supposed to help Ohio compete for major development, but proposed rules might keep Cuyahoga County out of the game. A draft of rules for the new Ohio Job Ready Sites program says the projects must be at least 150 acres to qualify for the money, which can be used to buy and develop land. A heavily developed urban county like Cuyahoga would be lucky to put together 30 to 50 acres for a project, county officials said... www.cleveland.com
