What's the leasing status on this building so far?  Full?

Full?  Really?  The top floors don't even have exterior walls yet.

I'm talking pre-leasing, not moved in yet.  Usually there is a push by property management staff to begin getting leasing lined up to get the thing filled.

They are pre-leasing.  I believe a regular poster to this forum has signed up for an apartment.

Burj Frank Jackson confirmed (again).

Big city vibes walking towards PHS on the northern side of Euclid. The CCA makes a huge difference in the feel of the street wall. Pedestrian activity was great today, I got in so many ppls way! ;)

It looks like this photographer has access to an even better VIP lounge. UO needs to step up its game.

I never noticed before how the ends of the top 3 floors flair out.

speaking of that, and while we await the facade paneling installation here, can someone go back to the vip parking garage and take a few pics so we can see how it is now? might be funny. 😂🤷‍♂️

I tried to a couple weeks ago and there was concrete work going on on the 6th and 5th floors. Let me see if I can get over there today or tomorrow.

A couple shots from this afternoon ...

From Saturday, September 16, 2023, at 6:00am until Monday, September 18, 2023 at 7:00pm, Euclid Ave. will close westbound between E 17 and E 13 due to a construction crane installation, and between E 9 and E 6 eastbound and westbound due to a crane dismantling.

Well, I for one will just be glad I don’t have to pan out or back in order to include the crane with the building’s progress. After this, Beacon and Lumen, it’s not like I’m hoping for another significant high rise project along Euclid any time soon* 😬😐🤪

*Check in on the forum photographers, we may or may not be okay (if anyone has insight on the day the Sherwin Williams crane is coming down, please let us know so we can plan our time of mourning appropriately) 😵

Lovin’ the glass on City Club!  - that should look amazing when completed - will really add a modern “pop” to that part of the Ave.

I think the paneling and coloring of said paneling will be what gives it the modern pop. The glazing is the same as the neighboring buildings, to me at least.

With a crane jump in the background?

I love those little wedge windows. That’s the prime Christmas tree nook.

Got a call Tuesday and apparently construction is a tad behind schedule so move-in date was pushed back from Oct 15 to Dec 7.

How about you @Milkshake1?

Oh they are WAY behind lol

Nary a parking lot in those shots. I’ve been spending some time in Dallas recently for work and DT Dallas is a tragedy. From a distance, it looks dense, but when you’re in it, it’s pockmarked with parking lots everywhere  and ugly brutalist architecture. Uptown Dallas, just over the highway from DT, is much more dense and walkable with loads of 15-30 story buildings, and is what I hope University Circle becomes someday.

Once Cleveland builds on the remaining parking lots in the Warehouse District, it will be a truly dense downtown. It’s fun to see the gaps being filled in.

You know if you think about it while we don't have the number of cranes that some cities do over the last 10-15 years we have been adding buildings at a decent enough clip such that those parking craters ARE getting filled in.

There are still several more craters I'd like to see filled - specifically 4th & Prospect (nuCLEus site), 8th & Prospect and 9th & Bolivar.  And of course those surrounding SHW, but I assume nothing will happen there until construction is completed.  Although it would be nice to hear of some developments in the planning stages.

My move in date was moved from November 1 to December 1. But then i chose to switch units so I'm scheduled for December 30 now.

They also said the ground and second floor restaurants and retail are still set for early November opening.

The rooftop pool (not open to the public) is slated for early June opening.

Once I'm moved in I'll see about having an UrbanOhio meetup there in the summer.

Gotta say, that park-like landscaping and plant life just in front of City Club gives such a beautiful, sophisticated feel to the streetscape.
