January 25, 20241 yr Just received an email. Pushed back to March 15. When asked if he is confident this will be the last time, the reply I got was "while I don't have an eye for construction, this came from our director of development. So hopefully no more delays." I will not be holding my breath. On the bright side, he did say he can offer hard hat tours now. So I have one scheduled for Wednesday at noon. I'll make sure to get a ton of pics.

This time the postponement was only for two weeks as my previous move in date was March 1st. They continue to say the postponement is not about the apartments, but about "items on the 1st floor". Getting real close!

January 28, 20241 yr Great pic, @freethink! can’t wait to see this same view when CityClub is complete and lighted. That, along with the current lighting on 668 Apartments should bring a lot of color and life to that section of Euclid Avenue.

January 29, 20241 yr I was downtown on Saturday and you can see they are working on the exterior on the east side of the building. From the camera angle, it appears nothing is going on, but in person you can see work is being done.
February 1, 20241 yr My unit got pushed back another month, to April 15th now. It still has to do with construction on the first floor. The lobby, elevators, etc. I took a tour today and forgot to take pictures of the first couple of floors, which is the retail and communal space. There's not a ton to see anyway. Just lots of construction going on. Nothing is finished down there. I did take a few quick picks of the units which I will post in a second.

February 1, 20241 yr Here is a studio. Note the mirrors in the bathroom slides to become an open space.Sent from my SM-G991W using Tapatalk

February 1, 20241 yr Oof, these finishes are horrible...I love seeing new highrise residential, but damn, these are bad. Edited February 1, 20241 yr by jmicha

Was lazy posting them because there isn’t too much to see. But that speakeasy in the basement is much bigger than I was expecting, and love that the elevator goes right into the middle of it. And I also got pushed back to Apr 15.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

February 1, 20241 yr It looks like a quick flip of a weird old building, not a brand new building built to be apartments.
February 2, 20241 yr It’s almost as if they’re trying so hard to let you know these are “lofts” or “industrial” or whatever, they needed to somehow squeeze in some exposed metal ductwork through the units. Sheesh.
February 2, 20241 yr Not at all what I expected the interior finishes to be. Underwhelming and antiseptic Edited February 2, 20241 yr by dave2017
February 2, 20241 yr The kitchen in that studio is crazy. Is that meant to be an incredibly affordable unit? I've lived in some small studios and none we're high-end and they all had a small oven/stove you could at least cook a frozen pizza in or make a modest home-cooked meal (handy when first starting dating someone new!)

February 2, 20241 yr Have to agree with the posters above who were critical of the finishes and aesthetic look of the apartment interiors. Surprisingly pedestrian. And as for sexy bathrooms…..let’s just say - there’s not much sizzle. Hopefully, first impressions will be proved wrong - but I expected something more inspiring.
February 2, 20241 yr Totally agree with all of you. Especially in person, it was very underwhelming. But in all honesty, it was the amenities of the building and its location that really sold it for me. I went into this knowing it was just temporary and whatever time I did spend in my apartment would basically be sleeping and watching TV lol i’m a very low maintenance guy.But I am in no way defending their rooms, especially the cheapest studio I went with. I immediately walked into it and thought “welp, thank god there’s so much to do out there”And everyone is still invited for drinks on the rooftop. Just don’t expect an invite to check out the room, I’d be a little nervous trying to fit more than one person in there [emoji28]Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
