Is there a large construction crew actively working on this project?

^ I drive by there around 7.30 most mornings and there’s usually 6-12 people working the site.

My hovercraft is full of eels

Yes, it's moving with a full time crew on site. Once framing is up, i'm more than happy to give a guided tour. Will be sometime in early spring

Does anybody have any recent pictures to share?

^ No pics, but it’s moving at a good pace. There was a big concrete pour yesterday, with trucks lined up down the street.

I love having to use the search to find a thread lol

If this was built in Europe it would have had 2 tower cranes.

At the rate this has been going up, it may be finished before Library Lofts.

I miss the skull reaction lol

Looks awesome!

On another note, the city or developers need to push to get electric lines buried in the ground.

This project is really so impactful in an otherwise forgotten area! I hope it spills over and leads to some of the other nearby lots being developed. Now if we can just get that E. 9th Spaghetti House lot built on!!

I wish the city would give Bolivar a streetscape makeover. It’s so barren and unwelcoming.

It’s never a consideration as i assume it’s viewed as a luxury in a city with a lot of needs. That said, not doing it just exacerbates the sense that Cleveland is a city without the means or the will to care about itself. Who wants to invest in a city line that?

I'm really hoping this plus the potential Huron pedestrian project can better connect Gateway and Playhouse Square.  They're so close to each other, it should feel easier to walk between them.

I don’t get that sense. Neither do all of the developers who have been investing and building over the past several years.

Point is - how much more would there be if the city put in a little effort to make things look better.

Look at all the light poles missing or chopped off just in two blocks of the Warehouse District. It’s embarrassing.

Whole city is filled with the remnants of cut down trees, light poles and street signs. Many of which are actually pretty dangerous on multiple levels. Here’s one on Huron at E8th.

Wow that’s bad. Start complaining to your reps and blasting it on social media. Maybe some of this would get fixed.

Just have someone "get hurt" because of it and call Saul Goodman aka Tim Misny.

Shares a garage with the apartment project and, well, just trying to keep this under-the-radar apartment project on the radar

Kudos to the City, they did in fact cut this down quickly. Meant to comment earlier.

Ken, the garage from 1060 does not share with 1020 Bolivar. 1020 has its own garage on the first level. Completely separate

Except that you can drive (or walk) between the garages of 1060 and 1020 Bolivar without going outside (see at left)....

This has serious street presence. I was downtown for the Guards game Saturday and just happened to look down the street and saw it. Pointed it out to my wife too.

Ten60 Bolivar adds great density to that view - it’s a somewhat under appreciated  project but between the new residents it brings and the street presence it will provide on that block, it’s a great addition for downtown.

oh geez paul come thru with the exact view i was wondering about when i was cliking on this thread. dont ya love it when that happens? ha. 🎉

These apartments make a bigger difference in terms of big city feel than one would expect. Adding density to Bolivar gives the feeling of more depth to the city, two streets over from our main city felt empty before, and now these apartments give it presence. Can't wait till there are people in them. Hopefully they start a trend around the whole cemetery.

Yes, this makes a huge impact!  I hope the area Carnegie - Prospect, E. 9th - 14th sees more future growth.  Lots of potential around the cemetery.

There's a joke about bringing life to a dead area in there somewhere...

the neighbors never complain

Their block club would put up stiff resistance to any nearby project.

how many times have i talked about the attractiveness of building around small squares? its a no brainer for another developer to add more apts around there in the remaining lots. plus its almost like a mini neighborhood already with sahadis and etc, although it could use more etc. when it opens people will see the success of this ten60 boliver project and it will happen.

I know you can't see much of the building, but I'm posting it anyway to say that there was plenty of construction work going on.

Seeing shots like these really makes the idea of the Browns moving to Brookpark the worst idea anyone could come up with. Downtown IS the fan experience.
