It's a gorgeous building, unfortunately it's rarely open to the public. Hopefully with a few more residents in the area this can get a bit more love and maybe more events/better hours.
September 28, 2024Sep 28 Walked by it on the way to the guards game tonight and wow. Huge difference in the feeling of walking down that street. Used to live over there and walked that street plenty. Looking forward to it being more activated
September 28, 2024Sep 28 Yeah and l didn't realize how close the two buildings are. Really connects that little bit of urban wasteland.

It fills a void that wasn’t obvious. If only Geis would have built as proposed on NY Spaghetti site that would further accelerate the connection there and to to PHSq. I thought Geus said it would be parking for only up to 5 years (10 years ago?) Didn’t they say to expect a development soon as they weren’t in the parking lot business? Did they sell it already? Hopefully to the developers next door who are succeeding mid-block. The corner of East 9 with views into Prigressive should be easy slam dunk.

November 19, 2024Nov 19 I thought the city had some regulation in place which prevented buildings from being razed for surface parking.

They're going to be demolishing that crappy little parking garage behind it. A surface lot will replace it "temporarily" so don't get too excited when you the garage getting demolished. It doesn't suggest anything except that the garage was in bad shape. "In the souls of the people the grapes of wrath are filling and growing heavy, growing heavy for the vintage." -- John Steinbeck

You’re right, I won’t get too excited since when they tore down the spaghetti house years ago that was supposed to be temporary as well.

KJP are you due for a follow-up interview with the Geis team to get status report on this and other projects of theirs? Would love to hear what they say. Especially with the improving economy and the fact they initially crowed this would not be parking lot for long. They kinda owe us reply for taking away that beloved building- vacant or not - and instead becoming mini-Kassouf parking lot barrons.

In all fairness, I believe it is the first time I threw that line out. And all you others...you know that is what your were thinking or at least wanted to taunt.😉

Here are some ways you can learn to cultivate more patience: Test your patience with smaller tasks. Identify triggers. Practice mindfulness. Slow down. Practice acceptance.

Now I want a 216 ft tall guardian that's a hotel or apartments on this site within perfect view of the home plate camera lol. Edited November 21, 2024Nov 21 by PlanCleveland Typo

February 19Feb 19 That development is impressive in person. Drove past it on Saturday and really adds to that section of downtown.
March 25Mar 25 Haven't seen the city from that location before. Love that density. Ten60 is a great addition and it really helps to close the dead spot between Gateway and Playhouse Square.
