Posted January 4, 20241 yr Kind of a downtown residencies/business discussion, er something, but looks like Fitworks downtown has closed. The only gym you're getting if you're downtown is CSU on the periphery (or your apartment complex). Edited January 4, 20241 yr by GISguy
January 4, 20241 yr I'm really surprised to hear that. All that's left are hotel and those expensive and specialized niche, boutique gyms. I'm also surprised an LA Fitness, Planet Fitness or even an Equinox or Lifetime don't have a presence yet. A good gym is basically the new third space for adults.

If that's the case, it suggests increased demand in the area. Gyms take up a lot of space, relatively speaking.
January 4, 20241 yr Does anyone have inside information to know if this fitworks closure is permanent? I have been going to this gym for 5+ years and it had changed ownership before (Titans-Alpha Legends-Fitworks) but always stayed open. There really is nothing like this gym downtown and not having a car really limits my alternative options. Sorry for this kind of post the closure just hit really hard. 😢

Good suggestion, didn't even think of their location. FWIW @Cleveland95 it's more expensive than Fitworks, but they offer some discounts on age and whatnot, too.
April 18, 20241 yr I saw that they took down all the for lease window stickers at the former fitworks today. It looks like some small work is being done. Does anyone know what's planned to go into that space? Thanks!
