Posted April 20, 200619 yr There are a number of older school buildings in Over The Rhine - a few shots from a couple of recent walks... the mighty OMI - Catholic School Art Academy these 'voucher' schools seem to come & go
April 20, 200619 yr Absolutely amazing! Is Hays the building you can see from 75, on the edge of the West End? I love this shot:
April 20, 200619 yr Another "me too" for what Ink and RiverViewer said. Great work! Old schools are the best.
April 20, 200619 yr Again, your creative threads should be cherished. "You don't just walk into a bar and mix it up by calling a girl fat" - buildingcincinnati speaking about new forumers
April 21, 200619 yr monte-man - you are good (in fact I think there may be another west end school over there, but I ran outta time and energy to find it), but that Bloom school is a gorgeous! To my eye it is similar to the Guilford School building on 4th, both have those Italian looking roof-top plazas... too cool Ink - I'm not sure what "Hays" building you are refering too? Isn't that the Cleveland school that somebody posted a picture of recently. That gothic looking yellow brick school with the red stone entrance and tablets is (I think) visible from I-75. They are adding to the rear of that and it's called the "Cincinnati College Preparatory" now. Ink - I am such a yutz... there is of course Hays building... (they just broke ground for a new "Hay School")
