April 24, 200619 yr Had to laugh. Someone e-mailed me Sunday asking if Marple-Newtown is part of the Main Line (Affluent West Philadelphia suburbs). My reply was that in the 21st Century, Everyone north of Baltimore Pike/Ave claims to be part of the Main Line. Anyway, which cemetary did this occur at?
April 24, 200619 yr I forget; somewhere off Frankfort Avenue. "You don't just walk into a bar and mix it up by calling a girl fat" - buildingcincinnati speaking about new forumers
April 24, 200619 yr Nice tour....I especially loved this shot. Where were you able to get such a great angle like that?
April 24, 200619 yr I forget; somewhere off Frankfort Avenue. Ah, up on the NE side. (I think I found your cemetary). Long as it wasn't West Laurel Hill
April 24, 200619 yr UncleRando, the Old Post Office tower has a 360 degree view of the city, for free. "You don't just walk into a bar and mix it up by calling a girl fat" - buildingcincinnati speaking about new forumers
April 24, 200619 yr I was just in DC college searching...it's a great city, though I wish they had some skyscrapers.
April 24, 200619 yr Stupid height limits... although it appears to be a great city and has some beautiful architecture regardless.
April 24, 200619 yr Trust me, the lack of skyscrapers takes nothing away from DC. It's a very European-like city and downtown is quite dense and lively. Truthfully, I think it's cool we have at least ONE big city without skyscrapers. America is at no loss for skyscrapers. Hell, even Ohio is at no loss for skyscrapers. Density/street level activity > skyscrapers any day... San Jose has no skyscrappers either.

May 7, 200619 yr Great shots! I love both places; Philadelphia has density and variety and color, and Washington DC has that and grandeur, too. Pictures of the broad thoroughfares in DC make me want to ask "Where's the light rail?"
May 8, 200619 yr I has GOT to start looking at these non-Ohio threads more often.... zowie.... Liked the "Turret Row" very much. Thanks for these, you are one busy fellow.
May 11, 200619 yr I thought those shots must have been from the Old Post Office. By the way, I liked the ghosts in Adams Morgan.
