This pic is from the first role of slide film I shot. After shooting slide film, I'm never using negatives for any daytime shooting again. With slides, there is no complicated color correction, and the grain on my 40-megapixel scans is non-existant. It even makes Fuji Reala look like shit. From now on, the only negatives I will shoot will be for night shots since Reala's whites don't blow out on long exposures (slides blow terribly). Other than that, it's Kodak Elite Chrome, baby!!

That Elite Chrome film is what I use lately for the (more and more) occasional film shot.

^well they do say that the ravines etc in SE Ohio do shield islands of "cooler" flora from futher north, stranded there in the Ice Ages ;-)
