Posted April 27, 200619 yr Well folks, this will be the last photo thread from me for a while. I'm going on vacation for the next week (I'll be turning 34 in the meantime), and I thought I should do a retrospective from the past year. I didn't travel as much as I'd hoped but overall my 33rd was a very good year for me. Enjoy: Columbus: Pittsburgh: Akron: Youngstown: And of course, Cleveland: clevelandskyscrapers.com Cleveland Skyscrapers on Instagram

April 27, 200619 yr That's a really cool street in the 8th to the last pic. Thanks for sharing the pics and happy birthday!
April 27, 200619 yr HAPPY BIRTHDAY!! what is 34 in "gay years"? 22....and thats stretching it! Don't make me scowl! I can't afford the wrinkles! :x Sweetie...they have remedies for wrinkles....besides, you're too young to worry about wrinkles!
April 27, 200619 yr Do you use an offset lense when you shoot the skyscrapers close up. Looks like you are able to eliminate the angled look of the building edges. https://www.instagram.com/cle_and_beyond/https://www.instagram.com/jbkaufer/
April 27, 200619 yr No, I use Photoshop's cropping/perspective tool to correct the "keystoning" on those shots. Same results as the offset lens without the expense :-) clevelandskyscrapers.com Cleveland Skyscrapers on Instagram
April 27, 200619 yr Is there really a billboard in Cleveland that says "Visit UrbanOhio.com Today!", or is that a subtle addition made by Photoshop? :-)
April 27, 200619 yr Man, the Leveque (sp?) would look so much better without those ugly antennae! Very similar to how the Carew Tower used to look with those awful circular radar dishes on its top.
April 28, 200619 yr Glad to see the money we put into that billboard paying off. Well done MayDay and tell me more about this area:
April 28, 200619 yr Have a great 34th MayDay and a safe trip as well. Well done MayDay and tell me more about this area: ^ That's E. 4th St in downtown Cleveland. It's a fairly new entertainment district that is home to The House of Blues along with several other establishments. I'll let one of the Cleveland forumers give you more details.
April 28, 200619 yr I also wonder...is there a real billboard in Cleveland like that(visit UrbanOhio.com today)? Nice dramatic effect here:
April 28, 200619 yr I wish that was the billboard... Nice shots! Have fun in Mexico. "You don't just walk into a bar and mix it up by calling a girl fat" - buildingcincinnati speaking about new forumers
April 29, 200619 yr HAPPY BIRTHDAY! You look great so stop worrying! Have fun where you are going and stay safe! Oh and great pictures as usual. I really like the last one of Cleveland at night with the moon in the sky over the city and the one of Terminal Tower blowing up. They should do that in Columbus some day. Oh, and I can see my moms office window in the picture that you took of The Huntington Center. I love that building! You should see it shimmer when the sun sets. Beautiful. Peace

January 12, 20178 yr Nah - as good as my early 30s were, post-40 life has been better than I could have imagined ... except for the metabolism being replaced by mandatory cardio :-) clevelandskyscrapers.com Cleveland Skyscrapers on Instagram
