Every now and then I try to create an avatar. I'm having a heck of time with it. I try to make the pictures smaller, but they never seem to be able to get attached to my profile. Are there tricks to creating one? Please help. thanks.

I believe they can be no bigger than 100x100 pixels, for one thing... perhaps you're still not making them quite small enough?

Also, if you're uploading an image from your computer (versus copying a photo/link from elsewhere on the internet), it needs to be either a .JPG or .GIF extension on the file
