Posted May 4, 200619 yr UCPlanner took me up to his hometown and gave me a little tour last week. Here is what we had time to visit during the brief tour (50 min). I love the electric lines that the buses use throughout downtown Dayton: People!!!!! Huh?!?!? Random: Schuster Center: Back to randomness: Respect to the Old Miami-Erie Canal: 5/3 Field: Back to whatev: Farewell Dayton...its been fun!

May 4, 200619 yr Very good tour, really shows the good parts of d-town. I haven't been downtown in about a year and a half and so it was kinda cool for me too. We actually traveled a pretty long way in 50 minutes. . . It was a rushed tour, but a good one! :clap:

May 4, 200619 yr Very nice! Dayton looks great in those shots. Last time I saw it was in the less lively winter. Those 'hoods that ColDay mentioned must look very nice in this season. Hmmm... I may have to pay a visit when I'm home in a couple weeks.

May 4, 200619 yr whew - did you sprain your shutter finger? very nice - not overly familiar with right downtown Dayton - great look around (liked the homage to the canal and schuster center interiors)

February 24, 200817 yr When visiting Dayton, don't miss the Art Institute. I think it's one of the best in this part of the country, especially for a city Dayton's size. Exhibit space, exhibits, building exterior and setting are all first-rate, and from there you get a good overview of the river and the downtown.
