Posted May 5, 200619 yr interesting, if unlikely fantasy: Given all the turmoil at Ground Zero over its (re)development, Ricardo from the magic propaganda mill sent us this rendering where the World Trade Center site would become a bay. Naturally, given the infighting that is involved with anything Ground Zero, this rendering would probably cost about $3 billion, 'cause water, you know, is expensive. And if you were thinking that the Department of Transportation would have to figure out what to do with the West Side Highway, you're silly - by the time anything got done cars would be hovering cars, like in the Jetsons! But, still, imagine boats downtown - hello, aquacars! May 8, 200619 yr it could be cool i guess, but id prefer a nice collection of skyscrapers. i dunno, i could go either way i think.
