Posted May 9, 200619 yr Eric Henn who has done several murals in Middletown and Franklin recently unveiled a rendering of a new mural in downtown Middletown to be painted on the TV Middletown building facing Verity Parkway and Port Middletown Park. Called Port Middletown on the Miami and Erie Canal, here is the rendering. It's a rather boring looking building (formerly a J.C. Penny's department store), so I think this brings new life to it.
May 9, 200619 yr I usually like artwork on the sides of bldgs and this is no exception. It looks like it will be a great addition to the urban environment. It looks similar to the artistic style of the mural on that Cincy bldg (sorry I dont remember the name). One side is the real bldg and the other is a mirrored version of the other side, but painted.

Thats the Cincinnatus mural on the side of the Kroger building facing Central Pkwy. This mural reminds me a lot of that, I think its so cool that someone has the vision and talent to take a totally blank wall and give it a life that instantly makes it a landmark.
October 1, 200816 yr It is finished. Watch the dedication ceremony here: http://tvmiddletown.blip.tv/#1312116
