May 13, 200619 yr wow, those are gorgeous! I took some snaps out my window when I was staying there and they were nothing like this, but whenever I look at them, it just makes my mind swim thinking about how many people there are crammed into all those little houses and huge apartment buildings
May 13, 200619 yr I was checking out his other gallery of shots taken down in the streets http://shinsato.cool.ne.jp/yakoukaisetu%20E.htm Where ARE all those people ? :-) Some seriously cool pictures there
May 14, 200619 yr 1st shot is other-worldly - almost cartoonish. can you imagine giving directions to your apt.? nice find mrnyc, thx for sharing
May 16, 200619 yr Awesome pics, for sure. But I couldn't imagine being a cab driver in Tokyo. Actually, most cabs are equipped with GPS, just hand them a business card from your hotel and they punch it in and follow the directions. The door opens automatically for you too(which is cool). Also, from what I saw traffic wasn't bad at all, everyone takes the subway....so driving around is surprisingly easy. My experience was that Tokyo looks very chaotic in pictures, but it is really so well organized that it's not that hectic at all.

May 22, 200619 yr I think these fall into the category of "wow." A question: in the second-to-last shot, is that an enclosed walkway with a translucent skylight that angles from the lower left to the center of the photo and back left again? If so, that's pretty damn cool. I wonder if there's any shops in there, like an arcade?
