I had to cut out of the meet a little early, and don't have time for a full thread of my own, but wanted to whet folks' appetite - it was a super-clear day (relatively speaking), so the Carew shots from folks with good gear are going to be phenomenal...here's just a sampling from my shots...and anyone who doesn't want to post a whole thread can feel welcome to drop a couple in here!

 

 

 

 

 

Here's Rob, getting a front-on shot of a firetruck - we got to watch a roof fire from the top of Carew - the building that houses Akash India had an issue - I'm sure others will have better shots than I have of that!

My husband and I had a blast!  It was great meeting everyone, and I enjoyed walking around downtown, Over-the-Rhine, and Mount Auburn (Prospect Hills).  We walked through areas we had never seen before, and it was my first time on the observation deck at Carew Tower.

Downtown: 1st & 3rd Weekends (Saturday and Sunday) @ 2:00

Over the Rhine East: 2nd Sunday & 4th Saturday @10:00 am

Over the Rhine Findlay Market Area: 2nd Saturday & 4th Sunday @10:00 am

(Check Cincinnati Preservation Association website for additional 5th Saturdays & Sundays)

Mt Adams: 2nd Wednesday & 3rd Saturday @ 10:00

 

Now I am not the tour guide all the time obviously and I only do Downtown and Mt. Adams.  Usually I am leading a tour about twice a month.  Next month I'm doing Mt. Adams and in July I have a Mt. Adams and a downtown. (That's as far in advance as I know.)  If you want the actual dates I can post from work (where my schedule is).  Oh, and I'd always arrange a tour for a group if people want.
