Posted June 4, 200619 yr Has anyone read this book yet? I heard it is pretty good. It probably talks a lot about the ( so called ) leaders of the black community who instigated the riots and how they have have pretty much single handedly made the violent crime rate in this city double since then. I also heard it has a lot of story's that you would never read in the paper's because of course the paper's didn't want the rioter's to look too bad. Here is a link to a review I found of the book. http://www.bluechipreview.com/Steve_Fritsch_Peter_Bronson_Book_Review.html It's also interesting to note that the same leaders who instigated the riots are most likely the same people who are bitching about " The Banks Committee " being all white. So it's a real good thing that their complaints are being ignored.
June 5, 200619 yr You don't need to use apostrophes with plurals. You use apostrophes to indicate possession.
June 5, 200619 yr I think these riots could have happend in any city. It came at a time when crime spiked and unemployment went up. Plus it was spring break, many of those people had nothing better to do.
June 5, 200619 yr Peter Bronson is a racist and conservative to the point of stupidity. I used to go to school with his son and really find the man abrasive. I'd bet the book has a fair amount of right, white leaning bias.
