Posted June 11, 200619 yr lotsa dust downtown recently - here's a quick look at some of the causes "hidden history" - old street car tracks and twisted steel cross ties temporarily exposed city west sorry - just dig this car (you hear him about two blocks before you see him) :) cincy's answer to the bat-car :) McAlpin bldg. all done this rail is on bldg on NEC of 12th & Vine - does anyone know what this was? it's use? 3CDC - is doing these our super hero returns!
June 11, 200619 yr these are the old "Bank Cafe" bldgs on SEC of 12th & Vine - very rough, very abandoned, very nasty, being rehabbed by 3CDC as apts. for Art Academy students! really exciting - this is from a couple months ago

June 11, 200619 yr i think tearing down the skywalk from fountain square to the westin will do wonders to visually open up fifth street from on end to the other. i dont recall the huge circle on the 525 vine building from any design renderings...should be interesting. the 580 rehab will do wonders as well. now if we can just get 5/3 to actually follow through with the reclading of the parking garage that whole area will really have tranformed. go cincinnati!
June 11, 200619 yr We saw 'Cincys Batmobile' during the UO Cincy Meet.....it was just sitting outside an OTR house. Someone mentioned that it was actually the batman's place of residence :lol:
