What are those green buildings in the second to last picture?

these are the old "Bank Cafe" bldgs on SEC of 12th & Vine - very rough, very abandoned, very nasty, being rehabbed by 3CDC as apts. for Art Academy students!  really exciting - this is from a couple months ago

Wonderful, on so many levels!  Great pictures, and all of them great news!  We'll have to remember to come back to this thread in a few months when these projects are all done, for a compare/contrast!

would you say there is a "plethora" of new constructions projects?

i think tearing down the skywalk from fountain square to the westin will do wonders to visually open up fifth street from on end to the other.  i dont recall the huge circle on the 525 vine building from any design renderings...should be interesting.  the 580 rehab will do wonders as well.  now if we can just get 5/3 to actually follow through with the reclading of the parking garage that whole area will really have tranformed.  go cincinnati!

Very nice.  That Vine Street renovation looks good.

We saw 'Cincys Batmobile' during the UO Cincy Meet.....it was just sitting outside an OTR house.  Someone mentioned that it was actually the batman's place of residence

if that was on the upper end of Broadway - then that was it!  He keeps it parked out front

what a great thread. nice to see all that action and esp the rehabbing.

please do post some follow up pics on here later on.

Mleroy, nice quote.  We all have our own personal El Guapo to face!

Nice roundup on the pics too OTR Fan

Now where's a current pic of this building?

Wonderful thread here.

Old, twisted streetcar tracks. Could this be a poster for Cincy's past?
