dq is rolling out a new style of store in chardon. looks like all dairy queen will soon come with orange julius just like at the mall.   too bad they are phasing out the brazier, that's cruel, i loved those. but otherwise it sounds good to me & it's sure a good time of year for this:

Chardon -- An aging queen is undergoing a makeover, with some of the first wrinkles being ironed out in Northeast Ohio. A prototype Dairy Queen/Orange Julius Treat Center debuted last week in Geauga County. The storefront -- one of only three in the nation and eight in North America -- represents a new franchise model for Minnesota-based International Dairy Queen Inc.

I used to pronounce it brasiere as a kid.

That is sad that the foot long hot dogs "steamed to perfection" seem to be on the way out.

It's sad to see what happened to KFC, Taco Bell, Pizza Hut, Long John Silver's, and A&W happening to DQ.

Visit East Claridon instead. ;-)

That article confused the heck out of me. And I've never heard the term brazier either.

They are right, unifying the brand seems like an essential move.

I perfer dairy king in nearby burton :D

They are generic chains, nothing about them makes me sad.  I haven't come near a Dairy Queen since moving to Cincinnati since discovering the greatest ice cream known to man - Graeters.

Gotta make more money for Warren Buffet

You try Aglamesi's in Oakley ?

That whipped crap that DQ sells isn't really comparable to real ice cream, tho.
