Okay, bear with me as I'm testing out my camera's movie capabilities AND QuickTime Pro. These are all in .mov format so you may need to download QuickTime to view them. Like most media files, they're realllllly big. I've listed their size so you know how large the files are, but if anyone has suggestions for how to compress them, I'm all ears. Also, you might want to turn down the volume BEFORE you open them - I'm not sure just how loud they'll be :|

Enjoy :-)

I've seen a lot of those pics before, in the overview, but some of those are just phenomenal shots, all put together like that, with the music..  VERY well done, there.  Certainly an image-boosting montage that not only people from  outside the area, but lifelong natives should see and be proud of.

awesome man u really worked hard on those and they all turned out really great! im a definite fan of the cinema's man excellent work. i really like the shots! Thank you for doing this!

Very sexy    very sexy!!!      You betta work!

Nice job! Now you've tempted me to set some of my pics and videos to music! Problem is, I've got nowhere to host something that large -- yet.

wow that was cool. i did the euc ave and the last one. nice work. good use of k&d on the latter.

i wish my imageshack would host these kinds of vids, but that's prob too much to ask for free.

The arcade is seriously cool.

There was a smaller one in Springfield but it got torn down so a 7/8 scale hotel could be built for some reason.

I would suggest, though, that you try the h.264 encoding as it should cut down on the "fluter" that happens when you pan across vertical & horizontal lines.

You will probably never eliminate it entirely, but .....

This gave me an idea. How about putting together Urban Ohio™ "travel videos" for Ohio's cities? Members from their respective cities could collaborate, get a good speaker, give the tour and talk about the history of important buildings/neighborhoods/local institutions/etc. Then they could be posted here for our enjoyment.

Columbusite, that's not a bad idea - though there might be issues with hosting such large files.

Is that a QuickTime thing, or is it a camera setting I should try?

Wow! The photo montage with music is some seriously fabulous stuff! Beautiful, dramatic shots and music that brings them to life make for a captivating show. I could visualize something like that about a half hour in length, running in a loop on a large kiosk screen in a visitors' center.

I guess it is just me....but the videos seemed to be pretty lame.  I guess I just don't have a softspot for these type of things. :|

That does sound like a good idea.  We shouldnt have any issues hosting them.  We have 20Gb's of hosting space and only use about 3Gb as of right now.  We also get 400Gb's bandwith per month and generally use 60-100Gb's per month now.

Quicktime setting

Or shoot everything out of focus on the camera so you don't have any sharp crisp horizontal & vertical edges. :-)

It is a digital thing you wouldn't run into in a regular film movie.

Montecarloss used that codec on his video & it worked pretty well.

Lookin' sassy, Cleveland.

Very, VERY sassy...
