I was wondering if the Youngstown and Akron stickys could be removed.  These two threads receive very little traffic and should probably not be stickys, but rather normal threads.  I am often bothered by the amount of stickys that are on different forums.

 

The rest seem to be ok due to their amount of posts/usage.

Maybe we can add a child section for all the random development stickies??

This really isn't a big deal to me...but I might suggest changing the background color of the sticky threads, so that it is obvious where to scroll down to in order to read recent topics. Of course, I rarely enter the boards anymore, I just see everything from Unread Posts, which lets me be sure not to miss something.

A sticky is a thread that remains at the top of the forum....even if no one replies.

I can easily identify the stickys from the other threads....I just find it annoying to always have a few pointless threads always hanging around the top of the board.  I would just like them to come and go with traffic like the other normal threads, however, Random Cincy, Cleveland, Cbus, and the likes should stay because they see a good amount of traffic.

I suppose the counter-arguement to the "annoying" P&C sticky threads for random developments is that newbies who come to the forum (or any lurker) who is from, say, Akron, Canton, or Youngstown has the chance to look at the development in their town, regardless if it's updated once every blue moon.
