Hawthorne Heights are throwing the third edition of their nostalgia-heavy, multi-city emo festival series, Is For Lovers, this summer, and some of the same bands playing those fests will also play the “20 Years of Tears tour,” which hits over 50 US dates from June through September. Hawthorne Heights will be playing their 2004 debut album The Silence in Black and White in full at every date, and the tour includes runs with Thursday, Saosin, Armor For Sleep, Anberlin, Cartel, Stick To Your Guns, and more, varying by date.

Looking forward to these guys, saw them at Happy Dog last time they were around and it was a cool show. A bigger venue will be nice. FYI, a couple of them used to be in Ought/similar but different.

 

Also meant to see them in Ferndale a year and some back (cc: @the pope) but that show was cancelled, got to take in the sights though!

The Superman movie is also still filming downtown through July 20th. 

 

They are expecting about 4,000 athletes in the first Pan-Am Masters event since Covid. Competitors from 50 countries will compete in 24 sports categories.
