Hey fellow Clevelanders.  I used to make these lists several years ago...and inspired by recent cabin fever, wanted to pass along.    Not sure if there is a better place to post / maintain,

Working on updates this morning...and dang, Playhouse Square will be rocking this Spring!!  Having CPH and CSU join is making this place have events every night.

OK -- I gotta hit the road!

As usual please post more events and I'll add to the master calendar.

It's my understanding that the pieces sold at prestigious department stores around the country that--like Halle Bros.--catered to the "carriage trade:" Saks in NYC, Gump's in San Francisco, Bullock's in LA.

Because of the Great Depression, Cowan Pottery closed in 1931.  Guy Cowan was then employed as the chief designer for Syracuse China.  Good trivia: when working for Syracuse China, Guy Cowan designed the China service for The Higbee Company's Silver Grille!

Interesting.  Thank you.

I've been keeping track of the voting for this event ever since I heard about it.  Tomorrow (Tuesday April 10th) voting will begin for the Cleveland vs El Paso "Final 4" matchup.  Voting begins at noon and ends at 8pm

El Paso garnered over 8,000 votes in their matchup vs Buffalo and the most we've gotten thus far is 3,000 so we will have some work to do.

Start spreading the word now and don't forget to vote for Cleveland!

^you are right, thanks for posting.  El Paso has a massive social networking culture apparently.  If we can get more votes against them, we'll win it all.

I'd recommend emailing, facebooking, as many news outlets and tv stations tonight as possible.  Also, major Facebook pages... Pro teams, Rock hall, museums, csu, case, Cleveland clinic, etc

TON of updates.

Dyngus Day festivities were AWESOME.

Reminder -- today is the day!

El paso is going all out.  Their visitors bereau and even the el paso times are helping.  C'mon plain dealer/ Cleveland.com... Where u at???

Is it possible to "stuff the ballot," the way fans did for Hillis, by using the incognito button on chrome?

I sent some emails out to the local news affiliates although it was just recently and hopefully I wasn't too late.  Please spread the word via Twitter/Facebook if you can!

Cleveland needs votes!

Wonder why the Cleveland media is not supporting this at all.  We could easily be crushing it right now.

El Paso has media support across the board.

Incognito voting probably won't work, since the ballot is on Facebook - you have to be logged in to vote

It is on the PD's Facebook page and Twitter feed

I just voted.  We're getting crushed!

me too. 900 to 1300 we need some help!

1200-1600+, need to close the gap.

I've forwarded to everyone I know:) The gap is closing and should continue!!

There's no excuse for us not to.  If we just factor in NE Ohio, we smash them in population.  This would be an embarrassing loss.

Told all my friends to vote...told them to think of it as a vote for the Great Lakes region and AGAINST Texas!  Cleveland is leading now

We are up by 171 votes!

It looks like they are using cookies and not Facebook to track duplicate voting - so you should be able to vote from your work computer and your home computer.

Local media and Michael Symon are key.  Symon has a bagillion followers, and they all seem to love and do what he says.

Every time I look we have 4 votes + to their 1.

I think they should call it for Cleveland! It is getting embarrassing.

Leading by over 700 votes now

The lead is now 700+ :-D

Leading by over 700 votes now

You beat me to it!  :-(

Hopefully with a sizeable lead we do not get complacent in the "4th quarter".

Also, I apologize for making this thread.  I didn't realize there was an older thread for this topic.  Mods feel free to merge or do with this thread as you see fit.

Don't apologize. :)

We're up by over 800 now. I'd say it's a good idea to 'push' it again on your various social media towards the very end of the work day. I think we actually have an advantage in terms of time - El Pasans (?) will be driving home at 8 EST, while Clevelanders will mostly be home already. A mention on the evening news would have a big impact.

Gotta keep pushing!  The lead has stopped growing.

Lead is at about 850. Around 3 hours to go. I'm out of avenues to get votes. If you know anyone at media outlets, go after them, try and get tweeted or something.

I was able to vote 3 times using my iphone, google chrome, and explorer.

We're up by almost 800 now.

Is this a duplicate?
