July 26, 200618 yr ^^^Was that CLEVELAND..or a burb? I'm not quite sure where that is, but it looks more like the Warrensville Hts area....not in the city of Cleveland... No, I believe that's Rockside at I-77. What's that, Independence?
July 26, 200618 yr Yes, that's Independence. That's almost due south of downtown Cleveland. If you like seeing satellite pics of parking lots, post one of North Olmsted sometime! If they torn down just a few more buildings in that town for parking, they could have the largest airport in the world. "In the souls of the people the grapes of wrath are filling and growing heavy, growing heavy for the vintage." -- John Steinbeck
July 26, 200618 yr Oh, my tirade wasn't meant to be directed squarely at you. Your post just happened to be the one to conveniently set off the little trigger in the back of my mind that said "set phasers from stun to kill." My appologies for creating that feeling of being singled out, like Columbus always gets . I feel like we should hug or something
July 26, 200618 yr Some favorite Dayton parking wastelands Sort of a "planned parking wasteland" at the Mall at Fairfield Commons in Beavercreek The University as Shopping Mall...parking wasteland surrounding WSU and the nearby Nutter Center Bellbrook strip parking wasteland showing clear layering...first tier is a phalanx of themed franchise food places with their dedicated parking, then a layer of "shared" parking lots, then the layer of of strip centers and big-box retail.
July 27, 200618 yr these lots may not be as big as others, but considering the context, i find it pretty bad. and this is what everyone says cincinnati should be emulating...
July 27, 200618 yr ^YEESSSS...a Nky bash!!!! Well done chap...well done       While we're at it here is one of: 'The Most Modern Downtown in America'
July 28, 200618 yr Here is one for good old Hamilton! The red areas indicate opportunities for any entrepreneur out there!!!!
July 28, 200618 yr Uncle Rando, pardon my ignorance, but where is "The Most Modern Downtown in America"?
July 28, 200618 yr ^Oh sorry for not being more clear. This is a thread on UO about Florence, KY....I actually made an error: It should be: 'Most contemporary downtown in America'. Here is the link: http://www.urbanohio.com/forum2/index.php?topic=1928.0
July 28, 200618 yr Thanks for the clarification. That downtown in that photo looks SO contemporary, it's hard to tell it apart from all the other "contemporary" downtowns in America.
