Posted July 19, 200618 yr In the past month, Warner Bros. recently bought ten Indianapolis photos I took for a show on CBS called "Close To Home." Granted, I have never heard of this show yet they paid a decent amount for these photos (which apparently will be featured as background photos for the set) and I and RichNCincy decided I needed a camera upgrade. Well, I'm pleased with the new camera and such (a DSLR) though still working out the details about it. So basically, this isn't an official post; just experiments. And with the good ole' Fuji...goodnight, Pittsburgh. "You don't just walk into a bar and mix it up by calling a girl fat" - buildingcincinnati speaking about new forumers

July 19, 200618 yr I can't wait for the official post. From what I can see, your already better at yours than I am with mine. :)
July 19, 200618 yr In the past month, Warner Bros. recently bought ten Indianapolis photos I took for a show on CBS called "Close To Home." How did that all come about, and how much were they offering you (if you don't mind me asking :-) )?
July 19, 200618 yr Excellent! I can't think of anyone who can make better use of the new camera. Ack! Japanese beetles: They've been munching on my giant zinnias, but the plants grow faster than the beetles can eat them. I won't spray, because the flowers attract bees and I don't want to harm the bees. The beetles' munching season will end in a few weeks, and the zinnias should continue to grow well into September and bloom through most of October.

July 19, 200618 yr Congrats on selling your pics. The show is pretty good, my wife watches it a lot. It is about some District Attorneys that work in Indy, there is a hot blond that is the lead character and her boss is the guy who played Drew Carey's brother on the Drew Carey Show.
July 20, 200618 yr Holy Smokes ... this is bad-azz: Yeah, but Noozer keeps telling us that the arch looked better in front of a train station prior to the 1970s
July 21, 200618 yr Congratulations! You managed to capture the illusive plastic water bottle in its natural environment! Beautiful photos!
June 23, 200915 yr Colday, you picture-taking motherscratcher. Damn. I forgot how good these shots were. So nice.
June 23, 200915 yr Yeah, those night shots are perfect. They are the caliber of night shots that got me into photography. Colday, you are such a talented photographer.
June 23, 200915 yr Wow, this is almost three years old! Thanks all for the comments! "You don't just walk into a bar and mix it up by calling a girl fat" - buildingcincinnati speaking about new forumers
