Yesterday I visited Sylvania with my mom because it is the town that she grew up in.  We mainly go down to go to the cemetery that her parents and brother are buried in but we stopped downtown to get some pictures and at Sylvania's historic park also.

Nice shots.

Does anyone else think there is something terribly wrong with the building in the second pic?

^Looks like it's built on a hill?

Interesting. I rather like the historic village. Good photos.

^^I'm not sure, there seems to be something wrong with the balence, as the roof looks undersized with copulas that are too small. That understated entry surrounded by floating window in the mist of all that brick makes me cringe too. I hope it looks better in person.

This building was built not too long ago (8-10 years ago) and it sits on a downhill slope landscape which may make it look crooked.  This building is a Professional Building and just north (very left side in the picture) of the building they just opened up a brand new hotel (2-3 years ago) called the Wingate Hotel.
