Posted July 20, 200618 yr Now I know I am not going to win any awards for this photo but I thought I would post it here for those interested. We went to the Mets-Reds game last night and had the pleasure of sitting through a 2.5 hour rain delay to only see my Mets lose. At least the Mets won the series 2-1. We were located on the 3rd base side of Great American Ballpark and discovered that we had some celebrities in the ballpark so I took out my camera and had to use all 48X of the digital zoom to get this photo of Ron Howard and Tom Hanks sitting on the first base side. So this leads to the question, "What were they doing in Cincinnati?". Could they be checking out the city for a possible movie and decided to go to the ballgame?
July 20, 200618 yr It's the home of Steven Spielberg. Maybe Ron's channeling THE MAN! "You don't just walk into a bar and mix it up by calling a girl fat" - buildingcincinnati speaking about new forumers
July 20, 200618 yr Interesting, I did some googling and found this: Ron Howard, Tom Hanks & Dennis Miller are touring all the MLB ballparks to celebrate Tom Hanks 50th Birthday.
July 21, 200618 yr This was on Good Morning Cincinnati, well, this morning. Rich is right and Dennis is to the right of Tom. I guess they interviewed them and they all agreed that Pete Rose should be in the Hall of Fame, lol.
July 21, 200618 yr Yeah, they did an impromptu interview during the rain delay. I caught some of the sound bites and those guys sound like real baseball fans.
July 21, 200618 yr pretty cool... could you imagine if you went to the game and found those three sitting right next to you! I hope they were impressed by the 'nati - I'd like to see the city featured in another big movie. Was Traffic the last one?
