Posted July 24, 200618 yr First off on this tour is the historic neighborhood of Columbia Tusculum, and IMO, one of the most colorful neighborhoods around! Beware....Victorian architecture galore! 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. 7. 8. 9. 10. 11. 12. 13. 14. 15. 16. 17. Now off to Mt. Lookout Square...then Hyde Park Square (sorry only one pic for both places..it was raining at this point). 18. Backside of Hyde Park Square...on my way for lunch at Arthur's. 19. From here I headed towards Mt. Adams, and meandered about for awhile. 20. 21. 22. 23. 24. 25. 26. 27. 28. This is the proverbial 'money shot' of the thread Sorry about the lack of commentary, but it'll have to do. I find that the photos speak for themselves, for these areas of town.

July 25, 200618 yr i love columbia-tusculum. Tusculum rd or avenue or whatever it is is one of my favorite streets in the city thus far. I put one of your pictures as my background and my roommate from cleveland saw it and said 'hey thats a nice picture of san fran.' i was like, 'its cincy!'

July 25, 200618 yr Nope not my background right now (but I definately thought about it). I just figured it was that photo because it is practically the inverse of the very famous SanFran shot with the city in the background. That is what immediately struck me as I was walking around......there are some great viewsheds of the river from that part of Tusculum!

July 25, 200618 yr Nice pics of the "painted ladies" UncleR - next time check out the UDF in Mt Adams - it's pretty unique because it has a nice outdoor patio/seating area for eating ice cream and such. It's the only UDF in Cincy that I've seen that has an outdoor patio.
July 25, 200618 yr That's a GREAT UDF. I love it. I go to it sometimes even though theres like 10 UDFs closer to me :] It even blends in pretty nicely with the rest of the street. If you sit out on the patio theres a lot of greenery so theres tons of birds all around as well.
