First off on this tour is the historic neighborhood of Columbia Tusculum, and IMO, one of the most colorful neighborhoods around!  Beware....Victorian architecture galore!

Sorry about the lack of commentary, but it'll have to do.  I find that the photos speak for themselves, for these areas of town.

Tusculum is interesting, not only due to it having a nice colorful housing stock, but the infill on Tusculum (the street) is wonderful.

I was about to mention how colorful it is. I love the different colors and how the houses are propped up a little bit from the street level. Great pics Rando.

Nope not my background right now (but I definately thought about it).  I just figured it was that photo because it is practically the inverse of the very famous SanFran shot with the city in the background.  That is what immediately struck me as I was walking around......there are some great viewsheds of the river from that part of Tusculum!

...with a gorgeous park on top of that hill too.  Alms is probably my second favorite park in the city...

^I had planned on it, but I thought it might have been too early for you to get started (10am Sat.)  I was out from around 10 until 3:30/4:00.  I'll keep ya in mind  :finger2:   ha hahahahaha.....damn I've been looking for an excuse to use that smiley for sometime now!!! :laugh:

Nice pics of the "painted ladies" UncleR - next time check out the UDF in Mt Adams - it's pretty unique because it has a nice outdoor patio/seating area for eating ice cream and such.  It's the only UDF in Cincy that I've seen that has an outdoor patio.

That's a GREAT UDF. I love it. I go to it sometimes even though theres like 10 UDFs closer to me :] It even blends in pretty nicely with the rest of the street. If you sit out on the patio theres a lot of greenery so theres tons of birds all around as well.
