Browsing all the great photographs on this site, I decided to share some old photographs with this forum. I shot these one beautiful October night in the 1980's during one of the many "Light Up Cleveland" nights. These "Light Up Cleveland" nights were held during the Browns Monday Night Football games.

 

Please except my apology for the quality, I was a young kid with a cheap camera about 20 years before the digital camera revolution.

Yes, thats because it was scanned. I also put the same shot twice but have since updated it with a new pic. BEGINNER!!    :?

^Looks pretty good, but it would be better if Cleveland had some more filler bldgs to make the scene more appealing. :-D

Or Fifth Third Bank tower, or second (and larger) phase of North Point, or the two skylight office buildings at Tower City...

 

Nice pics though. My sister took some pictures around downtown the weekend the Rock Hall opened, and they did a light-up downtown night then, as well. Some may remember that only enough lights were left on at Erieview Tower to spell "ROCK" using the windows. My sister got a great photo of that, which was in the background and the Rock Hall in the foreground.

Welcome to the board.  It looks so weird seeing pics of just the Terminal Tower and BP with no Key Tower. 

I remember watching the rock hall concert here in Florida. If memory serves me correctly, it was broadcast live on HBO. There were shots of downtown shown all through out the concert, incuding the word "Rock" in the windows of the Erieview Tower. That was a great night for the city of Cleveland.

 

I would love to see some more light-up pics, if any one has, please post.
