October 11, 200618 yr #2 my guess is that it is the sunken plaza thing between the jewish student center and the old catholic student center.
October 12, 200618 yr #2 Pope, you are correct! These are the steps leading up to the building from Euclid & East Boulevard...a very high profile intersection, which is why they decided to make this beeeeeautiful entry to the building! Which means that Wimwar, you are incorrect... sorry, please pay again. #1 Musky, nice try.

October 17, 200618 yr sweet! that one had been bugging me for some time! still, no one's gotten my #1 from above... I thought it'd be a cinch! any takers?
October 17, 200618 yr Tomlinson Hall @ Case. :) clevelandskyscrapers.com Cleveland Skyscrapers on Instagram
October 17, 200618 yr No - I didn't recognize the figure but I deduced that it was in a close location to #2, and from the "...linson" that's visible, I went to the building locator on Case's site, found Tomlinson Hall and voila :) clevelandskyscrapers.com Cleveland Skyscrapers on Instagram
October 17, 200618 yr Voila! No one else is as dedicated to this thread as we are... [sniff sniff]
October 17, 200618 yr ooh, i knew it was tomlinson, i figured the crawford hall one was 1000 times more difficult and obscure, so I got that one outof the way
January 6, 200718 yr #1 is the entrance to the Euclid Tavern. #2 is the cemetery house on East 118th.
January 6, 200718 yr #1 is the entrance to the Euclid Tavern. i'm still crying over that loss. It was a dark day in 2001......
January 6, 200718 yr Wow, X knows his UC area. These might be too easy for this crew, but how's about: Guessed by Zaceman: CIA, detail of courtyard area cut-out. and Guessed my Mayday: northern most unit in an old terrace on the East side of West 38th street just south of Detroit.
January 7, 200718 yr Nice work X! You nailed 'em both! Rumor has it that an old Euc' owner has either repurchased the bar or is thinking about it... Someone was going in and out of it while I was taking pics! Not a bad idea, if you ask me. Especially considering the lack of bar options in the neighborhood and the prospects of having 500+ new residents living a couple blocks away. Add to that the recent addition of the dorms Village at 115, just down E. 116th from the bar, which is predominantly upperclassmen. That's a drinking demographic if I've ever heard of one!
January 8, 200718 yr StrapHanger, those are two toughies - is the first a townhouse south of Lorain in the West 20s? I don't know the exact spot of the second pic, but I know it's a townhome just south of Detroit Avenue... I want to say in the West 40s? clevelandskyscrapers.com Cleveland Skyscrapers on Instagram
January 8, 200718 yr ^And I was worried they were too easy- show's how good my judgment is. First one is not a townhouse south of Lorain in the West 20s. Second one: you got it! It is indeed the northern most unit in an old terrace on the East side of West 38th (I think that's the right street-your 40s guess is close enough). It was jazzed up sometime in the early 90s or maybe late 80s I believe- quite ingeniously if you as me.

January 8, 200718 yr oh the first one is CIA, probably a view from the courtyard of Reinbreger Gallery's back exit and curator's office
January 8, 200718 yr Strap, why didn't you stop by? I live about 4 houses away from that townhouse. I'm scared of babies.
April 4, 200718 yr Okay folks - it's that time again! Some are a little tricky but let's see who really knows their stuff! :-D Western Reserve Building Annex - guessed by 3231: Palace Theatre - guessed by 3231: Storage Warehouse across from Cedar-University Circle Rapid Station, guessed by OC_Charlie: Society for Savings, guessed by StrapHanger: clevelandskyscrapers.com Cleveland Skyscrapers on Instagram
April 4, 200718 yr 1. that addition onto the western reserve bulding on W.9th near Superior? 2. E.17 between Euclid and Chester (palace theater). 3. ?? 4. ?? 5. ??
April 4, 200718 yr 1. that addition onto the western reserve bulding on W.9th near Superior? Nicely done! Now that I know what it is, MayDay's 90 degree rotation really threw me.
April 5, 200718 yr Is #4 the storage building across the tracks from the Cedar-University rapid stop?
April 7, 200718 yr You people are sick. I thought I knew the city really well, but this is just out of hand! "In the souls of the people the grapes of wrath are filling and growing heavy, growing heavy for the vintage." -- John Steinbeck
April 24, 200718 yr a wild guess here: Is #3 one of the stones in the facade of a building on Detroit between W.25th & W.26th?
April 24, 200718 yr #5- top of the old Society for Savings Building. Tricky angle there threw me for a while. Full disclosure- I checked a photo on MayDay's site to verify, but I promise I wasn't brousing for the answer.
April 24, 200718 yr 3231, sorry - that's not it but you're not toooo far off. StrapHanger, congrats! clevelandskyscrapers.com Cleveland Skyscrapers on Instagram
June 20, 200717 yr Oh this might be a little tough for most of you. This might be a tad easier - especially for one of you.
