Georgeous!  There is so we can learn from that town.

Love the picture from the plane...cant wait for the rest to arrive for our viewing pleasure!

well you sure got our attention with those! looking forward to some summertime chi threads.

How was the street fair?  Market Days is supposed to be the largest street fair in the Midwest and it looked pretty crowded from the pic.  I was in NYC this year and missed it.

Nice!

Second from the bottom, looking down.  This is the northern part of Streeterville, built on lake fill. That is the neighborhood I stay in when I go to visit Chicago..usually in a hotel around there.  The highrise to the left with the pool in back has a neat little mini-mart in the basement or lower level...sort of an upscale convenience store.  This neighborhood was alos Mies Van Der Rohes stomping ground after he relocated to Chicago from Gemrany as he lived in the area (and his famous skyscrapers can be seen along the lake..the first steel and glass modern skyscrapers in the USA, from the late 1940s).

The last shot has Douglas Park in the lower left corner, near the Little Village/Lawndale area (really more Lawndale).
