For some reason, this picture instantly makes me think of Hunter S Thompson and T. S. Eliott.

It makes me think of High School Jazz Band.

Getting back on topic, me at the Athenaeum Hotel in Chautauqua, NY this past weekend:

My wife and I went up there for a couple days a few years ago, and we were a little dissappointed.  The nature and scenery is georgeous, but I think we were looking more for a little party type atmosphere.  We went to Bemus, and I thought it was a bit trashy actually.  Oh well, I think we were expecting something that we shouldn't have.  Just a little too slow paced for us.

Probably beautiful in fall for color, or in spring for wildflowers. I think I see a rhododendron behind you in the last pic.

Otter Creek Wilderness, West Virginia :) The Possession Run trail has significant portions lined with rhododendron, in an almost tunnel-like fashion. Many portions of the Green Mountain and Shavers Mountain trail are similar, so it will be extremely nice in the spring when they bloom.
