September 3, 200618 yr Is that the new Mobile, Alabama tower? When I was stationed at Biloxi, MS, some friends and I traveled to Mobile to party... man that was a disappointment. What a shitty city.
September 3, 200618 yr ^ Correct. While on vacation in Gulf Shores, AL we headed over to Pascagoula, MS so we could cross Mississippi off the list of states we still need to visit. We passed through Mobile and I wanted to stop for a little bit but was very much overruled. Sounds like I didn't miss much. You're up Monte!
September 9, 200618 yr Looks like Boise, those mountains and capital building give that skyline away.
September 9, 200618 yr Something about that photo reminds me of Dallas when you view if out of Reunion Tower. Hard to pick that skyline out, there isn't anything unique about the buildings.
September 10, 200618 yr ^^^^Man, Niagra Falls Canada has sure changed/grown alot since I was last there (5 yrs ago). Some very interesting/new bldgs to say the least.
September 10, 200618 yr Yeah - I remember as a kid when the Minolta Tower actually stood out, now it barely shows on the skyline because its surrounded by hotels. By the way, that's the new Fallsview Casino on the right.
September 10, 200618 yr Here is the next one... Is that city in South America? No but it is not in the US either...
September 10, 200618 yr You were close in reference to the reunion tower, same concept, differant city.
September 10, 200618 yr Toronto! Once I saw the brown building I knew it right away. Here is my photo from the CN Tower:
September 10, 200618 yr Toronto! Once I saw the brown building I knew it right away. Here is my photo from the CN Tower: The first photo was taken due west from the CN tower. In the second photo, note the absence of newer buildings. I thought it would be more thought provking to leave out the more identifiable buildings from the first shot.
September 11, 200618 yr San Diego? No I thought it would be more thought provking to leave out the more identifiable buildings from the first shot. Well you had me thinking South America in that first shot, the buildings looked too old to be something in Asia.
September 11, 200618 yr I am pretty sure I am right, so I am going to post a new pic. If I am wrong, shame on me and move up one pic.
September 11, 200618 yr Yes it was Honolulu and the city you posted above uses quite a bit of utilitarian architecture. Looks like a city in Japan.
September 11, 200618 yr Okay, I know what city it is, but I totally cheated, so I'm not going to post the result. Had I not cheated, I never would have guessed ... not exactly a top-of-mind city but with an interesting history nonetheless.
September 11, 200618 yr Seoul? I don't know though, Seoul is proabbly a lot more dense. Edit: Oops I was looking at the wrong picture lol
September 12, 200618 yr What the hell? How did you ever guess that? I've heard of Montenegro the country but Montevideo doesn't even sound like the name of a city... Wow...props for knowing that.
September 12, 200618 yr It's in Uraguay near Argentina and a boatride away from Buenos Aires I believe. I think Mr. NYC did a thread or two on it a while back...
September 12, 200618 yr What the hell? How did you ever guess that? I've heard of Montenegro the country but Montevideo doesn't even sound like the name of a city... Wow...props for knowing that. Yeah it sounds like a video of mine: http://www.cincyimages.com/media/CINCINNATI.mov (shameless plug) OK, GA Lancer... You're up.
