Is that the new Mobile, Alabama tower?  When I was stationed at Biloxi, MS, some friends and I traveled to Mobile to party... man that was a disappointment.  What a shitty city.

^ Correct.  While on vacation in Gulf Shores, AL we headed over to Pascagoula, MS so we could cross Mississippi off the list of states we still need to visit.  We passed through Mobile and I wanted to stop for a little bit but was very much overruled.  Sounds like I didn't miss much.

Something about that photo reminds me of Dallas when you view if out of Reunion Tower.  Hard to pick that skyline out, there isn't anything unique about the buildings.

^^^^Man, Niagra Falls Canada has sure changed/grown alot since I was last there (5 yrs ago).  Some very interesting/new bldgs to say the least.

Yeah - I remember as a kid when the Minolta Tower actually stood out, now it barely shows on the skyline because its surrounded by hotels.  By the way, that's the new Fallsview Casino on the right.

Yes it was Honolulu and the city you posted above uses quite a bit of utilitarian architecture.  Looks like a city in Japan.

Okay, I know what city it is, but I totally cheated, so I'm not going to post the result. Had I not cheated, I never would have guessed ... not exactly a top-of-mind city but with an interesting history nonetheless.

It's in Uraguay near Argentina and a boatride away from Buenos Aires I believe.  I think Mr. NYC did a thread or two on it a while back...
