Had dinner last night with a close friend with family members who work for Butler Co.

 

His mom (Dept children's service?) got laid off (but was picked up in another dept at a lower salary).

 

The dept of Weights & Measures, previously a 2 person dept, laid off the manager.

 

Was also told that Warren County has elimated 2 positions in buildings inspections, but both were thru attrition, not layoffs.

The diverging diamond reconstruction of the Union Center Blvd interchange was dedicated this past Tuesday, 8/11/20:

The article also states that Liberty Twp Trustees have budgeted $100k to study construction of a new I-75 interchange at Millikin Rd.  The total project cost is estimated to be $80 million.  Millikin Rd. is a township section road one mile north of the Liberty Way interchange:

AND they are studying a re-do of the Liberty Way exit that just got completed a decade ago.
