Posted September 18, 200618 yr Can you believe this is my 4th Oktoberfest? Where did the time go? Oktoberfest was great as always although I missed not having Fountain Square open. The P&G commons area was used instead and although it was quite cramped, it offered a nice setting for the German festivities. These photos are spread over Saturday night and Sunday morning with an attempt to see the Bengals-Browns game. The days of buying scalped Bengals tickets are over. They were going for $200 from numerous sources. At least the walk back made for some good photos and an food at Oktoberfest. Enjoy: Goetta Balls - YUM!

September 18, 200618 yr MARK GLOVE! APPROVED!!! A good time was had by all, including me in the limited amount of time I could be there. Your shots capture the spirit well.
September 18, 200618 yr Awesome Monte! (And glad the Bengals won 'cause the Cleveland fan we took to the game whould have never let us live it down.)
September 21, 200618 yr By the looks of it they could consider changing the name from Oktoberfest to Bengalfest

September 24, 200618 yr Great pictures as always! By the way, I was standing next to the older couple in traditional dress during the opening ceremony. He's quite a character. He was cracking me up with his ad-hoc commentary on the goings on during the ceremony.
