Posted October 5, 200618 yr Caught this rainbow at sunrise on Thursday morning near my home in Columbus. Very rare to see one at sunrise and I couldn't believe how vivid the colors were. Enjoy!

October 5, 200618 yr Discovering the power of Photoshop I see. :-D Seriously, nice catch. Did you contact Jym or Ben to see how rare a morning rainbow is?
October 6, 200618 yr I know from past conversations with Ben that it is unusual to see such a rainbow at sunrise. You literally have to have a rainshower approaching from the West as the sun rises. Most often it's the other way around with an afternoon sun or sunset refracting into a rain shower that is moving away to the east. My neighbor saw the same rainbow while driving on West Henderson road that morning and saw the full "arc" and said it was as vivid of a ranbow as he's ever seen from one end to the other.
October 10, 200618 yr that's actually a little scarey - so close and bold. what would be at the end of THAT rainbow?
October 11, 200618 yr My dad told me that he saw a rainbow last Thursday morning as well, in Kettering. Funny.
